BRITISH STOCKS DOWN

' ■ In the House of Commons, Mr. Snow den was pressed by raany questioners to indicate the nature of his proposals to deal with the financial crisis, particulary the Ministers' sacrifice, but he adamantly refused to add a word to last week's speech. Following the recent speeches of Messrs. Snowden and Lloyd George, considerable weakness has developed on ■ the Stock Exchange in British funds. ' All are one to two points lower, an<t: ; : several Australians arc marked aown to! about the same extent.
