MELBOURNE, 15th February. The weather was fine for.the resumption of the Australia-West Indies Test match, T>ut the wicket was badly affected by rain overnight. Bradman gave a chance to Headlcy at silly point off Martin before adding to tho score. Woodfull was run out owing to tho carelessness of Bradmau, who was watching the ball instead of his partner. Woodfull waa at the other end before Bradman moved. When he had made 145, Bradrnan, thinking he was run out, went, to the pavilion,, but the umpire insisted that Uio batsmen had crossed. Bradman returned, M'Cabc going out instead. Bradman showed resource on. a bad wicket, but the bowlers did not take proper advantage of the conditions. Bradman batted for 142 minutes and scored fifteen boundaries. , He was beautifully caught near the boundary. The innings closed at 3'o'clock. West Indies' second innings was a procession, and the game concluded at 5.20 p.m. The visitors again battod poorly as tho wicket was greatly improved after rolling.
