AUCKLAND MEETING

Mostly local riders took part in the dirt track motor-cycle races held at the West" crn Springs Speedway in aid of the earthquake Relief Fund 'on Saturday evening. The most successful riders were B. Bray, W. Allen, C. Morgan, and H. Durkiu. There were no serious mishaps. Result! are as follow: — Hastings Handicap.—M. Aicken, 4sec, 1; J. Jordan, 2see, 2. Time, Imin 31 Vssec. Wairoa Handicap.—C.
