OLD NAVALS CLUB

The Old Navals Rifle Club fired their first shoot for the Franklyn Cup on Saturday at Trentham at ranges 300 and 600 yards in dull weather. The day's shooting also counted for the Rabe and Hodder Cups. The shooting was well below standard. The best aggregate off the gun was President W. M'Bain's 94.

I. V. Jones, 38, 32, 15—85; E. Congrieve, 41, 41, 2—84; F. Monk, 40, 42, 1—83; J. Pitt, 38, 41, 3—82; C. Lawton, junr., 39, 39, 3—81; M. Hugo, 35, 38, 7—80; R. Dtwson, 35, 36, 9—80; P. Congrieve, 38, 40, 1—79. Next Saturday the club will fire musketry, when a full attendance is requested. The'winner of this shoot holds the Harris Cup for the year.
