WOOL WEAVING
ANNIVERSARY FAIR
BRADFORD TO 'CELEBRATE
LONDON, 24th January. The 600 th anniversary of the introrluction of wool-weaving in Great Britain by Edward 111. will be ' fittingly commemorated by the Imperial Wool Industries Fair, which the- Yorkshire "Observer" is organising at Bradford from Bth May to 23rd May. The. Prince of Wales ihas given, his support in a letter to the Lord1 Mayor of Bradford^ in which he expresses hope that the fair will stimulate the demand for British woollen goods. Many other encouraging messages of support have been received, and as it is intended to make the fair cover the whole range from raw materials to the finished fabric, it is hoped that it will interest many people and have the effect, in the Lord Mayor's words, of "boosting this great industry of ours."
