PAIR ..FIELDS AT HOKITIKA
The racing carnival on the West Coast opens with Ihe Westland Meeting at Hokitika on Boxing Day, and fair fields are carded for most of the events. A big Riccarton contingent promises to have a say in many of the decisions. Horses in form and who should show up in the events named are as follows-— Maiden Handicap: Minerval. Thompson Handicap: Solwit. Rimu Hack Handicap: Rapma. Westland Cup: Beau Geste. Christmas Handicap: Sleipuer. Stewards' Handicap: Giggleswick. Electric Handicap: Wise Choice.
