SYDNEY WOOL PRICES FIRM.
SYDNEY, 18th December. At the wool sales to-day 10,545 bales were offered, and 9299 were sold at auction; also 504 were disposed of privately. The market closed firm for all wools showing quality. Competition was general, with Japanese buying most pronounced. Greasy Merino fleece made up to 15d.
