VISIT TO NELSON

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) NELSON, 18th December. Beautiful weather prevailed for the visit to Nelson of Lord and Lady Bledisloe. Various local institutions have been visited. Addressing 1400 school children, his Excellency said they wore particularly glad to be there that sunshiny morning and have an opportunity of saying a few words to the children of the primary schools. Both were specially glad to find their young friends from the Convent school associating with those who belonged to the Protestant denominations. (Applause.) It evinced a spirit of Christian fellowship and brotherhood which they ought to do all in their power to maintain and develop. The party left for Motuoka this afternoon. They will Visit Takaka to-morrow, returning to connect with the evening boat for "Wellington.
