(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, loth December. The annual cricket match between the fast elevens of King's College and Mount Albert Grammar School ivas commenced fco-day, a feature being the fine first wicket partnership for King's College between Howden and Lewis, which yielded 204 runs. The conditions were ideal, and King's College, batting first, scored 392. runs. Howden played a splendid innings for 150 before being run out, while Lewis just missed his century. Mount Albert has made a good start, losing one wicket for 50 runs.
