TO STAND FOR REFORM
ME. E. WINDLEY
Mr. E. Windley lias definitely decided to accept nomination in Reform interests for the Otaki seat at the next election. Mr. Windley states that he has always been a staunch Reform supporter, and the support assured liim has been such that he has every confidence in submitting his name to the selection ballot. Having lived in the electorate all his life he feels that he has given, a measure o£ satisfaction during the many years he has served on local bodies. Mr. Windley was chairman of the Porima School Committee for thirteen years. In 1917 he was elected a member of the Makara County Council, and has been chairman during the past seven years. In May last he was elected chairman of the Hutt Valley Electric Bower Board. It was Mr. Windley's intention to contest the last General Election, but in order not to divide the party's supporters he decided to stand down.
