December. : There are mysterious rumours follow* ing; the rescue of the Hedvig's crew* which consists of a Dutch captain and owner, two Britishers, two Americans* and nine Chinese. There is mystery as to what she was doing in the vicinity of Pratas Reef when she stranded. Sensational developments are expected. The officials are extremely reticent. The crew of the Dutch schooner Hed* vig were reported yesterday to hay» been rescued by H.M.S. Suffolk. '
