MR. SCULLIN IN FRANCE
(Received 6th December, 2.50 p.m.) ATHENS, sth December. Dense fog impeded Mr. Scullin's tour of the battlefields. From Arras he visited the Pozieres Cemetery and placed a wreath in honour of British troops. Thence he went to Albert, wheret he placed a wreath on the French memorial: The Prefect of the Somme received Mr. Scullin at Villers-Bretonneux, where he visited a school and met a number of Australian children. Going to Amie-ns he was received by the Bishop of Amiens and conducted over the cathedral. He leaves for Paris on Saturday.
