BYLAW CASES
Offenders agaiust the bylaws were dealt with in the Magisti-ate's Court yesterday afternoon by Mr. T. B. M'Neil, S.M. For driving without licences, Harry EL Hoffman, Robert H. W. Miller, and Claude Sidney Pullan were eacb fined £1 10s. Lionel J. Richardson was fined 10s for a similar offence. Seafidas Demitrius was fined 10s for riding a bicycle without his hands on the handle bars. On a charge of riding a bicycle without lights he was convicted and ordered to pay costs. Driving with defective lights cost Frank Smith £1 10s. Harry H. Hoffman was convicted and ordered to pay costs on a similar charge. . ■ For driving with no rear light James Walshaw was convicted and ordered to pay costs. On a charge of driving with uo lights he was fined £1. Riding a bicycle on a footpath cost Duncan Sang 10s. George Lum, for failing to have a bell on his bicycle, wa9 convicted and ordered to pay costs. Charles H. Hewinson was fined £3 for driving with a defective silencer. For failing to give way at an interscc j tion, George A. Brown was fined £2. Dorothy Archibald was fined 10s for driving with no rear light. A fine of £4 was inflicted on Raymond Duffey for dangerous driving, and Robert Scott was fined £1 for a similar offence.
