So badly burned that at first evea the sex was hardly distinguishable, tha> body of a man was found in the smouldering remains of a baby ear near; Hardingstone village. The police arrested the owner of the car, _ Arthur. Alfred Rouse, who protests his innocence. „ «-. ■ Sir Bernard Spilsbury, Home Offica pathologist, lengthily examined the charred remains, and throughout _Eng» land inquiries are proceeding in aa endeavour to establish the identity of the dead man. , . The only clue so far is a piece of suit cloth which escaped the fire.
