(Received JOth September, 10 40 am) BRISBANE, This Day. At the first -nool sale of the 1930 31 series to-day the closing lates weie very firm as compared with prices in the Sydney market.
ALLOCATION OF 'OFFERINGS
i The .New Zealand Wool Committee, representing; producers, . 'woolbroke'rs,, and woolbuyers' held a meeting this week for the, purpose of exercising its functions in regulating the offerings of ■woolat ■ the X'arious gales to be held throughout the Dominion'^uring the coming season. The committee 'had first. obtained, from the .Woolbrpkers' : Associations : at. each, selling ■centre an estimate of the quantity of wool which-.jfevis expected-will.be offered, including wool-carried, over from last season.
