Offerings at the wool sales were 10,839 bales, including 9"!3 New South Wale«, 3120 Queensland, 791 \ letomn, 931 West Australian, and 73-5 New Zealand, ot which approximately 5200 vieie sold. There was a large oftenng of gtea&v and scouied merinos, principally new clip. Top-mak-ing sorts were in steady demand. Gi casies weie wanted, but t>courers ueie lather neglected. Prices weie unchanged. Realisations v,e\e: Greaby combings, West Australian, "Wallal Downs," lid to lOMd; Queensland, "Barcaidme," 14 3/2 dto 13d, '"Northampton," 12% dto lid; Aji&hire Downs, 12d to ]l%d.
