One of the most uproarious numbers is set in a huge bathroom, in which Winnie Lightner sings, "Singin' m the Bath-tub,'.' supported by a chorus of fifty. Every sort of stago and. screen entertainment, from Shakespeare to modern jazz has it 3 high moment in this screen : panorama. "The Show of Shows" closes its Wellington season on Thursday night. ~ Next Friday at the St. James Theatre will witness the premiere in New Zealand of the big American road sho\v production, "Son of tlio Gods," which reproduces under the direction or its author, Kex Beach's gripping book of the same title which was the best seller of its year in America.. Richard Barthelmess, of "Broken Blossoms" and "Torrabie David" fame, has the leading role,, .and Rex Beach affirms that "he had Barthelmess Iv his eye when, he created tho part."
