REGENT THEATRE.
"Ihe Unholy Three" at the Regent Theatre gives the audience the opportunity of hearing the Into Lou Clianey in a talkie. It is v story of an evil combine formed by a veutrilotiuist, a dwarf, and a "strong man." The travelling show of ivlilch these three were star attractions is closed by order of the police. Echo (Lou Clianey) becomes Mrs. ,o'Grady, a sweet old lady, who , runs a bird store. Tho O'Grady store makes a specially of parrots, which, while they talk. unfailingly bofore customers (Echo's ventriloquism), are invariably speechless when taken home. This, of course, necessitates a visit from Mrs. O'Grady, who sums up the home's wealth and possibilities from the burglar's point of view, with the result that Ilia bird store's patrons shortly have more to-regret than a dumb parrot. After v murder and theft is committed. JCcho Is hard put to it to get tho three away with Kosie.' but a-refuge Is found in a mountain shack. Ghastly happenings take place in the mountain retreat and two of the unholy three come.to very unpleasant ends. The climax is worthy of a' Clianey drama, and bodes well for the' young lovers.
