ALLEY v. THYE TO-NIGHT
Ted Tbye, who meats Tom Alley in the wrestling match at the Town Hall to-night, is regarded as one of the greatest wristlock wrestlers the world has ever known. Strangely enough, Alley, who is the lightheaVywcight champion of the world, is also a great wristlock matman. It will be remembered that Alley won from the great Singh in Auckland last year with a wristIn to-night's contest Alloy will be up against another master of wristlocks, because Ted Thye, who is known as America's "Wristloek King," has defeated some of the greatest men in the world by that deadly hold. In Alley, however, be ■will bo up against a stiff proposition when it comes to applying the hold. This will be the only occasion on which Thye will wrestle in Wellington, and he is anxious to leave the Dominion undefeated. He has beaten "The Turk" and MacDougal, and ho expects to win again this evening. The early doors of the Town Hall will open'at 0.30 p.m., and a limited number of tickets will be on sale at the boxes outside,
