The final of the senior championship of the Shandon Club was played during the week-end, when J. S. Hunter, who was in good form, beat L. R. Bowen, 9 up and 8 to play. The best cards handed in for the Canadian foursome bogey competition on the Shandon links during the week-end were: Clapcott and Desmond, 5 down; Bowring and Poole, 6 down; Stuekey and M'Carroll, 6 down; Johansen and Jefiery, 6 down.
