25 MILES TIME TRIAL
CHMSTENSEN SUCCESSFUL
A twenty-five miles' time trial over a course from the Central Fire Station out towards the Hr.tt was held on Saturday afternoon by the Port Nicholson Amateur Road Cycling Club (N.Z.A.A.A.). F. Christensen, who rode from scratch, made fastest time, with G. Puniti second, and G. S. Bright third. A sealed handicap was held in conjunction with the time trial, and in this Puniti, Chrietehsen, and Bright again shared the honours. Details of the sealed handicap arc as follow: — G. I'imiti (2inin) 70mln -'sec 1 F. Christcnscn (bet) (iSmiu Ssoe 2 j G. S. Bright (3min) Tlinin oosee 3 Three of the club's leading riders, M. Gane, P. N. Robinson, and 0. Ericsson, were in the South Island-competing in the rouncl-the-gorges races.
