Mr. Boffe's .report gave the number of cases attended: during the month as 623, the cars having travelled 6149 miles. - The total number .of cases attended now numbered 17,219, and 180,----041 miles had been travelled by the cars. The honorary staff h#d. given 245 hours of duty.l last .month. -, The Fire Brigade annual benefit (Joy-Night) was to be held in the Town Hall, on 31st October, the night of. the Ambulance Art Union drawing. The anuiial benefit at Pahautanui would be held during October! The. staffs'of Messrs. Haiina and King, Hammond and M'Arthur, and Tinley Brothers had been added to the'staffs contribution scheme. .
Mr. Luke expressed appreciation for having been made an associate member oi the board. ", ■': . • :
