So few donations have boon forthcoming to.lessen the loss of over £.100 incurred by Music Week that a call has b'ien, made on the thirty guarantors. : Some will have to pay £2, and others slightly more to meet tho do-1 n'cit. In Nelson, Palmerston North, and Auckland Music Wnek was a financial success. There w#s a deflcii in Wallington, but public subscriptions altered this to a small credit balance.
With the help of the guarantors th,e Ohristchurch committee expects to have the- financial side of tho venture straightened out vory shortly.
