RING BOY UNDER 10 STONE

King Boy gave a taste of his improved quality by winning under ten stone at Canterbury Park on Saturday, and running the nino furlongs in lniin 55 see, or half a second inside the course record. Eing Boy held a good position throughout, apart from oiie cheek, and ran into the lead at the turn, to go on and win convincingly by two lengths.
The ex-New Zealander, Satrap, was a starter over hurdles at Canterbury on Saturday. He ran well enough to the turn, and jumped in competent fashion, but did not put any sting into his finish, being in a moderate fourth place at 'he judge.
Richfield had his first run in Sydney at Canterbury Park. He was never in a winning position. He looked very bright, and the race will imnrnve '•■ •
Gay Ballerina had her first run in public-this season at Caiucrljuiy t ....;. Che showed that she has lost nono of her pace, and the race will improve her.
First Acre, looking very fresh and bright, was well up in his race at Canterbury until he ran right off the course at the turn, As he waa burdened with Sat 81b he did well then to finish up doge behind the third horse, Gritall. The two leaders, Citamon and Credence, fought a desperate duel, Citamon winning by a nose. Credence- at hor last Mart had run second to Holdfast at gtowiefc Parci,
