LODGE MEETINGS
Last week there was a good attendance at the weekly session of Ocean View Juvenile Temple, No. 10, 1.0. G.T., HaUghton Valley. C.T. Sister J. Harper presided, assisted by Superintendent Bro_. Trevithick and Assistant Superintendent Sister W. E. Furly. The superintendent welcomed the visitors. At recess a fine programme arranged by Sister W. Furly was carried through by members, items being contributed by Sis. Harper, Bro. C. Cater, Sisters Coleman, Elliott, and Bryan, and a Japanese march by Sisters of the Temple. The occasion was the celebration of the Temple's first anniversary. A birthday cake was cut by C.T. Sis. J. Harper. Congratulations and greetings from Sister Temples and Lodges were received.
The weekly session of Star of Mclrose Juvenile Temple, No. 6, was held last week. There was a good attendance. Sis. J. Muiin, C.T., presided, assisted by Bro. Trevethiek, Superintendent, and Sis. Flaws, Assistant Superintendent. One member was initiated. Prizes were presented to several members for a recent character representation competition. At recess items were given by members. The weeKly session of Loyal Melrose .Lodge, 1.0. G.T., was held last week. Bro. !' hompson, C.T., presided, and Bro. Trevethick acted as Lodge Deputy in the absence of Bro. Flaws. Visitors were Sis. Trevelyan, C.T., Star of Wellington; Bro. Trevelyau, C.T., Star Ncwtown; and Ero. Burly, L.D., Star of Newtown. A game of quoits concluded the evening. There was a good attendance at the weekly session of Star of Newtown Lodge, 1.0. G.T., held last week. C.T. Bro. Trevelyan presided. Two new members were initiated. Mrs. Weston, who has been a "Cottage Mother" in connection with .Dr. Barnaido's Homes in England, gave au interesting account of the famous orphanage. Excelsior Juvenile Temple, No. IS, 1.0. G.T., held its weekly sesison at Berhampore last Friday evening. C.T. Sis. Fea presided, assisted by Bro. Trevelyan, Superintendent, and Sis. J. Hoyten, Assistaut Superintendent. One candidate was initiated. The weekly session of Trinity Temple, No. 10, 1.0. G.T., was held last Friday evening. C.T. Bro. Middleton presided, assisted by Superintendent Sis.
