Some anxiety is felt far the safety of Mr. B. P. Bates, a single man, who has been missing from his home at Eastbourne since last Wednesday. Mr. Bates, who is employed at the General Post Office, has been ill recently, and it is understood he was to visit a doctor in Wellington. Since then nothing has been hoard of hinu
■The following description is given of the missing man: Height, b'ft iin; medium build; hazel eyes; fresh complexion; oval type of face; small sandy moustache; age, 37. When last seen Mr. Bates was wearing a navy blue suit, felt hat, and a brownish coloured overcoat. Anyone knowing his whereabouts is requested to communicate with telephone 44-524.
