"I do not think that Now Zealand has over had such a good advertisement as was given to it by placing these beautiful bolls of tho Wellington Carillon in London's most frequented park," writes Mr. Martin Foley, formerly Clerk of the Magistrate's Court in Christchurch, who is now on a tour of Britain and. tho Continent. "I attended the Empire Day colobrations at Hyde Park, when there was a crowd of 500,000 people present. When these lovely bells pealed out everyone seemed to bo talking about Now Zealand, and saying complimentary things about our country."
