The biggest arsenal of gangsters' weapons ever seen in New York was discovered when detectives trailed and detained a fashionable sedan driven by the wife of a certain notorious criminal. There were bombs enough to destroy half Broadway, and what looked like harmless fountain pens wore actually pistols discharging .22 calibre bullets.
