-Blflex and "Whirl worked at throequarter pace on the sand. <, ... , On the grass Maidos and Boyal Acre went once round, commencing slowly. Timed from the six-furlong post the pair came home together in lmin 28sec The old steeplechaser Maidos Is in good heart., ■ ,-;. Latakia pottered abont on the inside of the ovaL
Coalbag and Silvermine galloped five furlongs on the sand, the latter finishing in front in lmin. 7see after running the first three furlongs a tick under 4Qsec. , ....... .■■..■'■ Son o' Mine worked a, couple of rounds on-the sand. /' ; Gowan"Lea was given trotting^and cantering on the inside of the oval. ' Copey worked well in two rounds on the sand .track. ~-;•■■• Bonogne worked nicely over . three furlongs on the grass in :4Ssec without being chased out. ' On the grass, Maiden Miss, Shef, and Joy Spear galloped four furlongs. Joy Spoar finished a bit in front in 55sec. Mendip went once* round the sand, striding out boldly. He was afterwards exercised on the lead. ■ . .v Bright Glow, Bandbridge, and Green Linnet -ivero given easy exercise-.'.on the inside. Double Bed did pace work.
