Advice lhas "been received that Mr. Takiwaiora Hupa, late Native Inspector of the Health Department for the Tai-Hauauru (West Coast district) lias been requested by prominent. Maoris of Wanganui, Tnranaki, Waik.ito, and Ratana, to stand as representative i'or the Western Maori Electorate itt the coming by-election.
