DUNEDIN, 24th August.

On Saturday night Kara Pasha (12st lOJb) defeated Alex Lundyn (12st 121b) after the most thrilling wrestling contest yet seen in Dunodin.

Lundyi was the aggressor hi the fust three rounds, but in the fourth the Turk secured the deadly Boston crab hold, nnd before he submitted Lundyn was bo badly ir.jured that he could not continue. It was to have been an 8-round contest.

At tits" close Kara Pasha was subjected to a hostile demonstration from the spectators, but there did not appear to be any legitimise reason for this.
