ANOTHER GERMAN BOAT

Germany is building a new typo of cruiser, carrying six 11-inch guns, with a speed of 26 knots, and having the extraordinary seakeoping endurance of 20,000 miles, which is unequalled in any other navy, according to "Truth."
Tho same paper describes tho omission to include Germany in the recent Naval Conference as a grave blunder, and remarks: "Tho East Africa incident reminds us that we have totally ignored Germany in our naval calculations."
When, the new German cruiser Karlsruhe recently visited Tanga, in Tanganyika, a, former German colony, the officers and crew paraded through the streets, and tho German Consul, who took the salute, made a jingoistic speeek regarding the colony's future, for whiell next day ho apologised, A BritJafc naval demonstration was later made ffl* the benefit of flhe assembled natives.
