OVER £300,000

(Special to "The Evening Post.") CHRISTCHUECH, 22nd August. I learn on good authority that the estate of the late Sir Joseph Ward has been provisionally sworn for probate duty at a little over £300,000. The Home of Compassion, Wellington, will benefit by a legacy of £1000. The residue of the estate has been left to the members of the family.
