NEWS ON SHIPS.
The quality of the news received by wii'eless on ships was subjected to criticism by Mr. D. Jones (Reform, Mid-Canterbury) in the House of Representatives yesterday afternoon. He asked the Prime Minister to endeavour to obtain a better service for travellers. At present most of the information was valueless. "What was wanted was more British news and less American.
