METHODIST CLUB
The Methodist Bible Olass linions' Ten-1 nis Clnb held its third annual meeting on Thursday, 14th August, when the club captain, Mr. W. E. Howe, presided. The club had met with much success, as ißhown by the annual report and financial statement. Officers w«re elected for the coming season. The members felt thatl the club had now • reached the stage where it could afliliate to the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association, and it is expected that this important step will prove of great benefit to the members generally. Members are eager to be on the courts again; and prospective members are advised to apply immediately, as there are few vacancies. The courts will be opened officially on 27th- September if tlio^ weather is favourable. ■ |
