ROAD CYCLING.

The Fort Nicholson Amateur Ko.id Cycling Club, Inc. (N:Z.U.C.) reports that it lias completed arrangements to hold a Palmerston North to Wellington road race on 11th October, and that several of the best riders in New Zealand, including a strong contingent from Auckland, 'will be taking part. >>. Wright, who holds the Auckland to Wellington record, will be amongst the competitors. The race will be timed, to finish at the Basin Reserve in the early afternoon. It is expected that fully thirty riders will participate, and care is to be taken to meet the riders' requirements en route.
