RUGBY TOURNAMENT TEAM

The following team has been chosen to represent the Wellington primary schools at the annual tournament to be held thia year at Palmerston North:—Mears, Kildufl', Coombs (Lyall Bay); Comfort. The Wellington team will leave by the Auckland express at 2 p.m. next Friday, and will be the. guests of tne Manawatu Schools Union until Thursday, the 28th August. CITY v. HUTT VALLEY. During the week two lightweight teams of boys, under 7st 61b and sst 111b respectively, played matches against the Hutt Valley fcchools Union at Petone Wellington were successful in winning both games after good, even tussles, the scores being.9-3 and 3-0.
