A BIG TEAM
A. TINKER'S ESTABLISHMENT
With fifteen horses in work it is little wonder that A. Tinker finds himself un»ble to get awayto ride at the Grand National Meeting next week. Few men with only a trainer's licence have so many horses in work, and Tinker is able both to ride and train. He has an interesting three-year-old by Topgallant from Concert, the dam of Egotism, who is said to show a lot of promise. Valuation and Mervette are a well-known pair reported to look very bright after a spell. The brothers Stonehenge and Mosque are doing steady work, and King Lu's first representative on the turf. King Win, is said to be a strapping fellow, who will require time. Kaha is reported to be backward. Imamint, a .three-year-old filly, who showed considerable promise early in last season, has had a set-back recently. King Val, a five-year-old gelding by Valkyrian from Informative, is a recent addition to' the stable after a spell of twelve months, another moderate five-year-old being the Paper Money-gelding Monetize. Ruling Chief's three-yearol-d brother Super Kuler, who was trained last season, by G-. Price in Sydney, is not going to be hurried. Tinker has three two-year-olds. They are: A gelding by Arausio from Pelt; a colt by Lackham from Persis, dam of Nucleus and Koyal Duke; and a filly by Warplane from Noretta. The string is completed by a three-year-old gelding by- Nassau from Opera by Comedy King. This string suggests that Tinker's team will be heard from during the coming ..term. . .-
