WELLINGTON'S FESTIVAL
EXCELLENT CONCEPTS
Yesterday was the third day of AVellington's musical festival, which extends over the lyhole of the present week. The weather was again antagonistic, as it j continues to bo to-day, but in spite of it the attendances were fair. The public, it is to be hoped, arc realising what a feast of music is being provided for them, music which can be appreciated by all. Yesterday's programme was the full daily one, starting with .an organ recital and community singing in the Town Hall during the luncheon hour. In the afternoon the first of the chamber music concerts was given in the Y.W.C.A. Hall, and in the cveiung the Town Hall was the scene of . a magnificent choral concert.
