It is most unlikely that Finlayson, the North Auckland and All Black forward, will bo available for selection for the third Kusby Test against Britain in Auckland on 26th July. After the second Test.' in Ckvistcluireh Finlayson returned to Auckland suffering from an abscess on the right hand. This has since turned septic and Finlayson is at present in the Auckland Hospital, where he had undergone two operations. It is stated that another operation, will be necessary, this week.
