TRAINING COLLEGE WIN.

In the first spell of the game between Training College and Upper Hutt at Maidstone Park the students were the main aggressors, and their series of advances gave them a commanding lead, Young scoring a fine try and Leitch kicking two penalty goals. Upper Hutt failed to score in the first spell, but showed up (o better advantages in the second half, whon Hushes and Ballinger scored tries, and Deere kicked a penalty goal. With oue of his attempts to convert a try Deere directed the ball accurately, but the kick was disallowed. Training College's score was improved by tries by Dixon and M'Cn.bi1. one- of which was converted by ljtiitch. The game resulted: Training College 17, Uppe? Efitt; Q, ~~_ 1.
