This puts Old Boys in the lead on the championship table Old Boys (9) beat Lin-wood (3). Merivale (14) beat Sydenbam (0). Albion (29) beat Technical (9). HAWERA, 12th July. Kapouga (3) drew with Okaiawa (3); Haw-era (13) boat Athletic (0); Waimate (20) beat Eltham (13); Opunake (15) beat Patea (6). MASTERTON, 12th July. Old Boys (16) beat Masterton (6); Carterton (40) beat Red Star (10) ; Greytown (16) beat Gladstone (12).
WANGANUI, 12th July. Two representative Rugby matches were played at Wanganui to-day. Wanganni A (11) defeated Taihape (0) in their annual fixture. Wanganui B (11) defeated Wai-nui-a-rua (5).
