HUTT VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL

The monthly mooting of the Hutt Valley High School Board of Governors was held yesterday. Present: Captain W. Olphert (chairman) and Messrs. D. A. Ewen, J. C. Bums, J. Kerr, and IE Sladden. On the motion of Mr. Ewen, it was resolved to lay down two tennis courts, ! which equal one basketball court. The acceptance of a tendor was left in the! hands of Mr. Sladden a-nd the princi-' pal. Tho board, received several applicatioiis for tho uso for tho school gym[naaium. It was decided to lay down the policy that school buildings should be used only for school purposes. Tho gift of two Bugby footballs from Mr. Goo. Phillips was acknowledged. Tho tmlargomcnt of n, photograph of t!io lato Mr. K. P. Ttishworth, for hanging in tho school, ivns authorised by the board.
