WAIRARAPA REPRESENTATION

MASTERTON, 20th June. The Wellington Education Board haft just discovered, very late in the day, that Masterton is entitled to elect two members of the board in addition, to the two hitherto elected in the Wairarapa as * , whole. Ihe secretary of the Education' Board stated to-day that a new xepresentative aiea at Masterton had been created> to be known as the Mastertou urban area, and two representatives would now b« elected for that area which was formerly included within the district reprebented by Messrs. A. Donald and R. M'Leod. Mr. M'Leod -nas at present seeking reelection, and Mr. Donald, as the sitting member of the larger constituency, had the option of becoming one of the representathes *r the new area.' Being, however, intensely interested'in the work of the country school, he had elected to remain as one of the representatives for tVt Wairarapa rural area.
