Jessep was on Friday morning admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand by his Honour the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, on the motion of Mr. C. G. White.A resolution congratulating Mr. Mark Fagan on his appointment to the Legislative Council was passed at the meeting of the Wellington Labour Bepresentation Committee last week. Mr. H. Gonsalez, of the Chilean Department of Industries and Commerce, arrived, by the Tahiti this morning from Sydney.
