ELVES O'MINE:
It's fust wonderful what bils of news the Poslie hears and collects up during his rounds. This week he. tells me that some Scrapbooks missed the Birthday Page, and also that he has seen new ones being made. Otaly my small elves are saying wistfully: "But they're too late now; ,they won't be any good." ... Pixies, of COURSE they're good. You can finish 'them for the . Christmas Tree at the Hospital next December; they would make darling presents, hanging up by their gay ribbons. When you have spare moments, don't forget the wee sick people in the clean white Wards. They do love being remembered by other little people ... Time we were thiiiking about our Winter Page,, loved ones. Stories and drawings and verse from you all, just as soon as you like to send them now. And I'll remind you again—write on one side of your paper, please! It makes iL.so much easier.for the Printer-man.. .• , ~ . Happy, happy hoairs. 7 to you all, my elves. '■■ v . v !\:. ..
