STAR COMET'S COMPLAINT

(By Telegraph.)

(Special to "The Evening Post")

AUCKLAND, This Day

Advice from Hamilton to-night states that the chances of Star Comet fulfilling his Great Northern engagements are very doubtful. He is suffering from an internal complaint that is affecting his respiration. He is under treatment by Dr. Ring, who ,was present at Te Rapa to-day, when the horse,, with A. Gilmer up, was trotted on the coarse proper. Every effort is being made to get Star Comet to the post, but the prospects are by no means good.
