WELLINGTON STREET NAMES.

A correspondent ("Yohoko") writes to "The Post" that an Esperantist in Cuba has made an inquiry regarding the name of Cuba street, whioh bears the appellation of his country. Cuba street was named after the barque Cuba, a survey ship which arrived at Wellington on 3rd January, 1840. \ Other Wellington streets which took their names from ships are: Adelaide road, Aurora terrace, Bolton street, Coromandel street, "Glenbervie terrace, Herald street, Roxburgh street, and Tory street.' Several other streets were named after the commanders and officers of the early vessels which, visited the port.
