MAGISTRATE'S COURT

Police cases in the Magistrate's Court today were dealt with by Mr. E. Page, B.M. t Charged with loitering for the purpose of prostitution, Florence Etna Emeny, alias Kirkcaldie, aged 60, pleaded guilty and attributed her lapse to drink. She was sentenced to one month's imprisonment. "I will give you an opportunity to make good," the Magistrate told Florence Gore, aged 49, who Baid she did not remember anything about stopping people in Vivian Street yesterday and begging from them. Among others she stopped was Constable Smith, and after she had heard his evidence the accused decided to plead guilty. She was convicted arid ordered to'come up for sentence if called upon within twelve months.
