NEW ZEALAND GOLF COUNCIL
• A special meeting of the New Zealand Golf Council was held yesterday, when there were present, Sir Alexander Eobcrts (chairman), and Messrs. W. A. Kiely, A. I). S. Duncan, M. J. Crombie, Colonel E. O. Chesney, and Gr. O. Sutton (secretary).
An apology for absence was received from Mr. L. 0. H. Tripp.
It was unanimously resolved, after full consideration, that the 1930 championship meeting shall be played on the Mauawatu Golf Club's links, Palmerston North, in October.
A set of proposed rules for future Kirk■Windeyer Cup competitions was submitted by Sir Alexander Roberts and Mr. M. J. Crombie, and after slight amendments, was approved of and ordered to be forwarded to Australia for approval of Mr. W. A. Windeyer and the Australian authorities. As soon as tile rules are definitely agreed to by all parties they will be circulated.
